Why Yachad

Yachad (the Hebrew word for together) is a collaborative program for teens in 9-12th grades from across Minneapolis. Yachad is the education program for all of our teens together. Eleven Minneapolis organizations collaborate together to provide one Jewish communal program for our teens. From more than ten local high schools, our teens come together weekly to eat, learn and socialize with other teens from across the metro area.

Yachad is built on the philosophy that our community is better together because we offer a wider range of diverse and immersive learning opportunities through our partnership.

Yachad is open to all teens who are interested in Jewish learning. Teens participate from a variety of Jewish backgrounds and settings (Reform, Conservative & Modern Orthodox), including teens who are not affiliated with any synagogue.
